Updates on Junior and Spotty

I'm here to update on my beloved Junior and Spotty! (:

After examination by my vet, Junior got his butt shaved again. :( And she gave him more anti-fungus medicine and powder to apply this time. I've isolated him in an elevated cage so that his butt won't get into contact with pee, but of cos he still has his exercise time outside the cage the whole day.

Sigh.. really hope he can get his nice butt and coat back soon. It really hurts to see him in this stage. I'm not sure if i'm being too sensitive here or not, but i actually feel that Junior seems to feel inferior of himself. He isn't too hyper these days and always choose corners to sleep by himself during the day, meaning that he won't look for companion but he doesn't reject companion too.

Spotty's eye isn't too good either. My vet couldn't tell me an exact reason as there wasn't any strong evident. It could be due to his teeth, because his lower back teeth are little sharp which is due to the way he normally eat and chew his food. However, she said that the teeth weren't that sharp to cause the tearing and normally, it should cause drooling more instead. But there wasn't any drooling issue with Spotty. Another reason that she mentioned was injury at the eye like he knocked into something that injured his tear duct and caused the tears unable to flow into the tear duct and down the nose and throat, hence causing the tears to flow out of the eye instead. However, if it's this case then he should feel pain when my vet check for injury around the eye! But, there wasn't any sign of pain. The last reason is some infection at the eye, but she also said that if it's that, both eyes should be infected and not just one eye.

Haha.. So she gave medicine for all the reasons! =x She gave me eye drops, medicine for pain and one more syrup which i forgot what is it for. And after 2 days of medicine and wash and drops, Spotty eye had got ALOT better! :D

It's just Junior now (: Will make sure he gets well this time!
