Update on Bui

It was really sad to see the very hyper and greedy Bui not moving for the whole day, just crouching below the stool, not eating nor drinking nor show any interest to her favorite treats! After bringing her to the vet on Monday, the vet said that her stomach has gas but the good thing is there isn't any major blockage. She said that giving too much starchy or sugary food will cause the gas, however there's no change in her diet and I do not normally give them too much treats. Hence we have no idea what caused the gas. :(

She said there's no major issue now, but i will need to force feed her on Monday night because she hasn't been eating for the whole day and may become GI Stasis if the situation continues. She gave critical care, medicine for pain relief, gas remover, promote gut mobility, papaya pills and antibiotics.

Now then i realized that normally rabbits do not like to eat papaya pills as a whole! LOL. I was told to smash the pill, mix with water then feed to Bui. I was stunned because my kids love to eat it whole, so i asked her if i can feed it whole like this. Then she was stunned and told me, ya of cause if they want to eat it whole, cause seldom rabbits will eat it like that! HAHA..

Anyway, my kids always teaches me new things each time something happened. This time round, Bui taught me not to take things for granted. Perhaps, remind me not to. (: You guys really can't imagine how happy I was when I saw Bui came running to me for food and treats today!! She has recovered and is her active and greedy self again! That's the Bui spirit! :D

One more happy thing for today! ((: Spotty and Junior did their binkies!!

Loves to the max!
